Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Databricks Engineer (Azure) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data technologies, particularly Databricks, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions in Azure – Databricks environment.

Responsibilities:

• Understand Business requirements and Design/implement solutions in Databricks (Microsoft Azure) to support data processing and analytics requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand and address data processing needs.
• Implement and maintain data pipelines using Databricks notebooks and Apache Spark.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure Databricks and data processing workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Databricks with other components of the data and analytics ecosystem.
• Draw application architecture and walk through it with the business team and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualification:

• 8+ years of experience with proven experience as a Databricks Engineer or similar role in big data environments.
• Hands-on Experience on Azure Data Bricks is a must.
• In-depth knowledge of Databricks, Apache Spark, and big data technologies.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure Databricks.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Databricks Certification.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Health Care domain experience.
