Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Drive strategy and roadmap for MDM.
• Provide strategic guidance with respect to MDM best practices.
• Understand various sources and use of master data.
• Define strategy for building and managing master data assets.
• Define strategy for how master data will be used in the organization and various subscribers internal and external to the organization.
• Provide detailed documentation, end user training and knowledge-transfer services.
• Translating requirements into actionable project initiatives with associated metrics.
• Day-to-day management of MDM implementation technical team.

Key Desired Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

• 5+ years of experience in information management.
• Must have healthcare knowledge (payer or provider).
• Multiple successful MDM experiences.
• Must have a methodology for keeping up in this ever-changing space of information management.
• Practical leadership in master data management & associated tools (Profisee, IBM, Infosphere, Talend, etc.).
• Must have a technical background and be able to lead data integration, data modeling, MDM workflow, etc. through a firsthand understanding of the work.
• Experience with Metadata Management, Business Glossary, and Data Lineage. knowledgeable on IBM Reference Data Management, IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog or similar tools from other Vendors.
• A deep understanding of data lifecycle (data profiling, data quality, master data management, data warehouses/marts/staging/ODS).
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelors or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field.
