Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Represent Information Security and Infrastructure in the Interoperability Program
- Engage other departments within IT as well as across others to contribute to delivery
- Drive stakeholder engagement and manage accountability across team leads
- Participate in the scoping and sizing of data components of projects (e.g., ROM estimates during Multi-Year Planning, Intake & Demand Management)
- Facilitate coordination and communication among Business, HealthTech, HealthAnalytics, and EPMO throughout delivery
- Manage project stakeholders and ensure that expectations are being met, communicating status, issues, risks
- A delivery lead is responsible for keeping multiple projects on track for HCSC and ensuring they are completed on time and according to specifications. As a delivery lead, you collaborate with the designers, developers, and clients to determine the scope and timeline of the project
Key Desired Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
- skilled at building trust, managing team dynamics and motivating people
- Working with the Project Owner/Sponsor to confirm the project scope and goals, objectives and business justification, secure project resources (people and budget) and re-iterate the mandate for the project.
- Undertaking standard RAID analysis and establishing the project governance structure and processes.
Creating, maintaining and updating key project documentation.
Leading, monitoring and maintaining progress of the project to ensure delivery of goals within the agreed constraints of time, cost and quality.
Controlling and reporting progress to the Project Steering Group/Project Sponsor and managing any issues, as appropriate. Initiating corrective action where necessary to keep the project on track.
Continually assessing potential risks and issues, actively managing remediation and maintaining risk and issue logs, and contingency plans.
Management of complex dependencies and 3rd parties
Playing a lead role in defining an effective communication strategy for the project, including communicating and consulting with key stakeholders.
Identify interdependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated and communicated.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as information technology, or a related discipline
